4 Tablespoon Ghee
2 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
2 1/2 Teaspoon Baking powder
4 Cup Cake flour
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Iced Water
1/2 Cup Maizena for the layers
Beat sugar, egg and ghee till fluffy.
Add dry ingredients and small quantities of milk and water as needed to form a soft dough.
Leave to stand for 30 minutes.
Divide into 12 balls. Roll out each ball to paper thin.
Smear with ghee and sprinkle with Maizena.
Pile rotis into 4 and roll out into a big roti.
Smear with ghee, sprinkle with flour and roll into a Swiss roll.
Slice into thin slices.
Roll each slice lengthwise and fry in deep oil on low heat.
Place on paper to drain oil.
Serve with syrup.
