Pecan & Choc Pyramids
11 Biscuits - Pecan & Choc Pyramids
250 grams Butter
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
1/4 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda
2 1/2 Cup Cake Flour
1 Cup Chopped Pecan or Almonds (100 Grams)
1 Cup Chopped chocolate (150ml slab)
Chop the Pecan nuts roughly - about 3-4 pieces per nut
Mix butter and sugar till creamy.
Add egg and beat well.
Beat in vanilla and bicarb.
Add remaining ingredients and flour to form a firm dough.
NB. Do not add all the flour at once as the flour quantity may vary as needed to form a soft dough.
Take a tablespoon of dough and press it down with a fork to make a pattern and having a shape of about 2cm. Place on baking paper in an oven tray.
Bake on 180°C in a normal oven or 160°C in 3D oven for about 30-35 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Melt the chocolate on low in the microwave and dribble over cooled biscuits.
