Chocolate Hearts
11 Biscuits - Chocolate Hearts
250 grams Butter
3/4 Cup Icing sugar
1 Egg yolk
1 Cup Maizena/Corn flour
1 Teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 Cup Cocoa
1 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
2 Cup Cake flour
Mix butter and icing sugar until creamy.
Add egg yolk and beat.
Add cocoa, Maizena and baking powder and mix in well.
Add remaining ingredients and flour to form a soft dough.
NB. Do not add all the flour at once as the flour quantity may vary as needed to form a soft dough.
Roll out dough and cut into heart shapes and place on greased tray.
Bake on 180°C.
When cool dip in melted chocolate and place a chocolate coated peanet on the top.
Drizzle melted white chocolate over.
