Nando's Chicken
06 Main Chicken - Nando's Chicken
1 Chicken butterflied
1 Teaspoon Ground Garlic
1 Teaspoon crushed Green Chillies
1 Teaspoon crushed Red Chilli
1 Teaspoon Red Chilli powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Lemon Pepper
1| 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
4 Tablespoon Nando"s Medium Sauce
1 Teaspoon Mixed herbs (optional variation)
Serving sauce
8 Tablespoon Nando's Medium sauce
1 Tablespoon Mayo
125ml Fresh Cream
Prepare the whole chicken by cleaning and making sure it is dry then place on a cutting board breast-side down. Use a kitchen scissors and cut either side of the backbone. Remove the backbone and turn the chicken over breast-side up. Rotate the legs and press down on the breast to flatten.
Marinate the chicken in all ingredients and leave for about an hour.
Bake in oven at 190°C for 40 mins or until done.
Heat the sauces and cream and pour over the chicken before serving.
