11 Biscuits - Japanese Biscuits
250 grams Butter
3/4 Cup Icing sugar
1/4 Cup Oil
1 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
1 Cup Maizena
2 Cup Cake flour
Cream butter and sugar until creamy.
Add oil and vanilla and mix in well.
Add in Maizena and beat until fluffy.
Add flour to form a soft dough.
NB. Do not add all the flour at once as the flour quantity may vary as needed to form a soft dough.
Shape as desired and place on greased tray.
Bake on 180°C.
Variations
Custard Biscuits: Add 2 Tablespoons custard powder.
Chocolate Biscuits: Add 2 Tablespoons cocoa.
Coconut Biscuits: Add 2 Tablespoons coconut.
Nut Biscuits: Add 1 Cup chopped nuts.
