11 Biscuits - Health Bran Rusks

1 Kilogram Self Raising flour

1 Tablespoon Baking powder

500 ml Buttermilk

2  Eggs

1 1/2 Cups Brown sugar

500 Grams Butter

3 Cups All Bran Flakes

2 Cups Chopped Almonds

Optionally add other nuts or seeds

Ingredients

Mixing Bowl

Step 1 Buttermilk, Sugar, Eggs

Mixture

Step 2 - Add Butter

Step 3 - Add Bran and Nuts

Step 4 - Add Flour mixture

Mix to form soft dough

Tray size 60cm x 30cm

Spread evenly

Cutting template

78 rusks

Bake at 170 for 20mins

Bake at 140 for 15mins

Separate rusks onto cooling racks

Bake at 80 until crisp
