Ginger & Chicken Soup
04 Soup - Ginger & Chicken Soup
2 Chicken fillets Cubed
4 Tablespoon Olive oil
1 Onion Chopped
1 Tablepoon Ground Ginger
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Garlic
1/2 Teaspoon Lemon pepper
1/2 Teaspoon ground Coriander
1/2 Teaspoon ground Cumin
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
1/4 Teaspoon chopped red or green chilli optional
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Carrots Cubed
500ml Water
1 Packet Cream of Veg Soup (optional)
1 Tablespoon Oats (optional)
Optionally add cubed potato, baby peas, corn
1/4 Bunch Dhania Chopped
Cube the carrots and boil under tender.
Braise the onion in olive oil until translucent.
Add ginger, garlic and braise then add the spices braise few minutes.
Add the cubed chicken & cook until almost dry.
Dissolve the soup in cold water and add to the chicken.
Add the carrot and any other veg.
Add the oats and cook on low heat for 20 minutes stirring continuously ensuring that the oats does not stick to the pot.
Garnish with chopped dhania.
