2 Cup Self raising flour
1 Cup Sugar
125 grams Butter
1 Egg
Water as needed
Filling
4 Cup Milk
2 1/2 Tablespoon Butter ( melted)
3 1/2 Tablespoon Maizena/Corn flour
3 1/2 Tablespoon Cake Flour
1/2 Cup Castor sugar
3 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Caramel Essence
Dusting
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Crust
Mix flour and sugar.
Mix 125g butter and flour to breadcrumb consistency.
Form dough with beaten egg and a little water if necessary.
Roll out round and line a greased tart pan.
Bake on 180°C until done.
Filling
Melt the butter and add flour and maizena and braise for 2 mins.
Add beaten milk, eggs and sugar and stir continuously.
Bring to boil and cook on low till thick stirring continuously.
Fill into baked shells and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Bake in low oven for 10 mins.
