02 Savoury - Steak Pie Filling
1/2 Cup Sago
1 Cup Boling water
1 Onion Chopped
3 Tablespoon Olive oil
1 Kilogram Steak Cubed
2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon coarse Black pepper
1 Teaspoon Lemon pepper
1 Teaspoon Ground Garlic
Green Dhania Chopped
Soak sago in boiling water and give it a quick boil.
Braise onion in oil.
Add steak and spices and cook till almost done.
Allow all the water to evaporate,
Add soaked sago to steak and cook on low stirring all the time to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Add chopped greens before filling in the pastry.
Butter Pastry is recommended.
